Wedding Sign Tutorial with free images and fun fonts!

Make these cute decorative signs for your wedding or home using free images from The Graphics Fairy and fun fonts. I found the Chanel Font HERE for free. How sweet is that for a DIY bride on a budget?

These little signs will be added to the decor in my guest bedroom and bath. But how sweet would they be on display w your guest book or favors? I love the city ordinance sign, perfect for our summer visitors. Thank you Karen aka The Graphics Fairy
These little signs are made using scrap wood and water slide decals. Order your decal paper here
Be sure to order the correct paper for your printer! Inkjet and laser printer waterslide decal paper are not the same. Another bit of advice: Don't run around to Hobby Lobby or Michael's looking for water slide decal paper. I have asked several times and they don't carry it. At least not in our Longview stores at this time. Order it so you can get started making these cute signs.
This next sign uses another image from The Graphics Fairy - {if you haven't visited her site get yourself right over there. You will find something to love - trust me!}
I used my overhead projector for this fantastic old advertisement for a bicycle catalog. I am lucky enough to have an overhead projector that a local school was discarding. I used a Sharpie ultra fine tip to trace the image on the board then lightly sealed it with Minwax polyurethane. It hangs in my guest bedroom. I'm trying to figure out how to display this sweet vintage bike in the bedroom too.

One more sign for today: this one was for a recent brides' popcorn bar. {See more from this wedding Here}

Get your free chalkboard background here. Sweet C's Designs is super sweet to post such a detailed tutorial on how to make a chalkboard sign. She gives the  photoshop version and a link to a second site for a tutorial that doesn't require photoshop. That's super sweet don't you agree?
Have fun making your home decor or wedding signs!
