Wedding Decor re-purposed to Home Decor

These shabby roses made beautiful embellished details on the mason jar centerpieces for a rustic garden wedding. But the happy bride hated to see them go into a box on a closet shelf labeled 'wedding stuff'. So, she fired up the glue gun and set to work. Here's what she designed for her new home from a lovely detail of her wedding day.

The jars were filled with beautiful floral designs from La Tee Da Tyler Texas- jars and decor by Prairie Sage with embellished roses purchased by the bride. After the bride & her groom returned from the honeymoon the roses were faded and it was time to put away all the beautiful details she had spent many hours planning. Our bride loves all things shabby couture and it didn't take her long to come up with a beautiful display for one of her favorite fabric roses.

Her gorgeous shabby fabric roses are the perfect detail on a shelf in her bathroom. The burlap fabric backing and ivory painted frame set off the little rose beautifully. While you're designing the wedding of your dreams, keep in mind how you can re-purpose many of the decor details for your home after the I Do's. This little rose won't be collecting dust in a box on a closet shelf. Great Job!
