Burlap Chair for Vintage Wedding Decor

My latest project was to recover a sad old chair. She is now sporting new burlap upholstery, perfect for vintage wedding decor.

The hardest part of upholstery in my opinion is pulling all the staples and tacks! ouch ... it is time consuming, painstakingly slow and painful at times. But like sanding for paint projects; pulling out the staples and tacks really makes a difference when you are ready to attach the new fabric.
For this chair project I used white burlap for the back of the channels. Each channel is stuffed tight and secured to the seat base. I left the back open and used ruffles to hide the seat base and frame.

This chair includes a french pillow with a fabric flower detail when you rent her for your wedding or bridal session. Call our studio and make your appointment to try her out. She is adorable and anxious to make her debut. Will you be the first to rent her?

Don't forget; we also make custom bunting so every detail is perfect on your special day!
